A New Initiative to Support Emerging Independent Filmmakers
At this year's 2024 Gala, the International Motion Picture Awards (IMPA) proudly reaffirmed its dedication to championing the independent film community. We are excited to launch IMPA Varsity, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of creative storytellers.
As part of this new program, IMPA will be awarding a $10,000 CAD cash prize to recognize outstanding achievements in independent filmmaking.
