International motion picture rating system aims to identify films suitability for audiences. The IMPR system determines the suitability of content based on nature and age of audiences such as, sex, violence, substance abuse and any other matter that might not be suitable for children.
For instance: A film has IMPR rating 14-ATD/C. It determines that the film content contains the use of drugs and coarse language; therefore, an adult should accompany children under 14 years of age while watching the film.
